Every department on a university campus has a need for unique software and payment systems. Consider payments for athletic tickets online, alumni relations taking donations over the phone and dining halls accepting payments in person. All of these departments use different software that needs to securely and efficiently handle payments in a PCI compliant way. How do you begin to navigate this landscape of complexity with varying department requirements and technologies to uncover the most cost effective solutions to accept payments on campus, both now and in the future? Western Michigan University will share their experience of partnering with Arrow Payments to complete a campus-wide payment systems discovery and upgrade project in November of 2018. Learn what surprises they found, what unique use-cases came up, and how they distilled all of that information to create a plan for flexible payment systems and PCI compliance across the University.
